Web-based, Remotely Hosted
Using EmployApp means never having to install external software, stress over software updates, or require a dedicated IT staff to support your team. In addition, our web-based solution provides the potential for world-wide access. No matter where your users are, they can all view and interact with the same data in the same ways.
Because EmployApp is remotely hosted, we take care of the leg work—including security, database backups, and real-time software updates. Remote hosting also means faster setup time. In most cases, your new software will be up and running within a day.
Security
We take our customers' data security very seriously by providing multiple layers of physical and software security. Physical security measures include staff members on duty 24-hours a day, 365 days a year; magnetic locks, security cameras, climate control systems and redundant power systems. Software security measures include 128-bit SSL encryption (the highest form commercially available), password protection, and optional IP address authentication (to allow access only from designated computers within your facilities).
Database Backups
When you use EmployApp, your data is stored on our server; however, it’s still your data. You own it, and while in our hands, it's our responsibility to protect it. That’s why we back it up every day. Additionally, upon request, we will provide you with periodic hardcopy backups for safekeeping. Backups can be emailed or saved on a CD and shipped to you overnight.
