Job Postings
Job descriptions, details and requirements are stored in a positions database, so posting a job to your company's web site couldn't be easier. Your applicants can view available jobs by location and/or category.
Customized Applications
Application customization is included in the standard setup process at no additional cost. We'll modify your existing job application for online use or work with you to develop an effective, all-new online application. Online applications can range from a simple resume upload to an advanced, multi-tiered questionnaire. Assessments and personality profiles can also be integrated into the application process as needed.
Qualification Screening
Screen your applicants for minimum qualifications at the front door and eliminate "junk" apps that waste your valuable time. Each time you post a job to your web site you have the option of adding up to ten job-specific questions. You can choose to make the "correct" answers to these questions required or not required, which means you can use this feature to simply glean job-specific information about each of your candidates or to prevent unqualified candidates from applying in the first place.
Transparency
Visitors to your Web site will never see an EmployApp logo, reference, or any other indication that the application process is anything other than a function built into your company’s Web site. The typeface and colors of your career web site can be adjusted to complement your site's existing design and color scheme.
Applicant Tracking Features
Status Options
Our sophisticated applicant tracking system (ATS) allows you to create your own "status options," or hiring phases, and to move your applicants through the appropriate phases with ease. Status options make our ATS unique by allowing you to adapt the software to fit your process, rather than adapting your process to fit the software. Incoming applications are automatically marked as "New." Built-in status options include "Interview Requested," "Interview Confirmed," and "Hired," but other status options can be created and edited to accommodate each step of your hiring process. Designated members of your staff may view or change the status of each application as needed.
Comment Cache
Comments are automatically added to the comment cache each time the status of an application is amended. The comment cache indicates who made the change, what change was made, and when the change was made (down to the minute). Additionally, authorized staff members can post "hand-written" comments, such as interview notes, as needed. The comment cache can be viewed by everyone on your staff involved in the hiring process for that applicant.
Communication
Response letters, including interview requests, rejection letters, information requests, job offers, and other communication can be generated in seconds using templates created by you. Response letters can be automatically sent by email or printed on your letterhead for quick, effortless mail-outs.
Integrated Screening Services
Background checks, drug tests, physicals, verifications and other pre-employment screening reports can be ordered with the click of a button. Orders are routed to Employment Research Services (ERS), an accredited, leading service provider with more than 10 years of experience.
Click-to-Hire
In seconds, your authorized staff members can use EmployApp's Click-to-Hire feature to simultaneously change the selected applicant's status to "Hired," close the job listing and send letters of regret to the other active applicants for that job.
Applicant History
View the application history of any candidate; including dates, positions were applied for and all other details, such as the results of interviews, background checks, and other assessments.
Data Export
Data on individual applicants or a group of applicants can be exported to Microsoft Excel, HR-XML, or one of many other formats for quick and easy integration with your existing benefits, payroll or other HR systems.
